Training

At Nova Dog Training, I understand that no two dogs, or families, are the same and everyone's schedule looks different. Evening or weekend classes can be tricky to commit to, especially when you're juggling work, children, holidays and everything in between. I offer flexible, tailored training that fits around your life.

Nova Puppy Pals

Bringing home a new puppy is exciting, and it’s great to connect with other local puppy owners while you’re all figuring things out.

If you’re working with me on training support, I can connect you with local puppies through Nova Puppy Pals - a friendly puppy club focused on safe, well-managed social opportunities. You’ll get:

  • Help arranging suitable one-to-one puppy meetups

  • Guidance from a qualified trainer on understanding puppy body language and encouraging appropriate play

  • A supportive space to share your experiences and ask questions

It’s the perfect way to keep that social connection going if you’re choosing one-to-one training over group classes.

Tailored 1-to-1 Support

We’ll begin with a free, no obligation consultation to discuss your dog, your routine and your goals. From there, we’ll look at the most suitable approach for you and your family.

Most clients choose a three-month support package, which includes:

  • Three in-person sessions (or online via Zoom, if that's better for you)

  • Cheat-sheets and easy-to-follow guides as a reminder, and to help everyone stay consistent

  • WhatsApp support throughout the three-month period, so you’re never left wondering what to do next

  • A flexible structure that works around your schedule

Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy or navigating behaviour changes in an adolescent or adult dog, I’ll work with you to build confidence and skills, at both ends of the lead!

Walk & Learn

Busy week? Struggling to fit training in? Walk & Learn sessions are designed to keep your dog’s training on track, even when your schedule gets in the way.

Once we’ve had an initial consultation, you can add these structured walks to your package for extra support between in-person sessions. They’re especially useful if:

  • You’re short on time to train during the week

  • You want your dog to keep progressing between family-led sessions

  • You're dealing with specific challenges on walks, like pulling, overexcitement, or distractions

  • You’d like some practical help reinforcing good habits in real-life settings

Each walk is tailored to your dog’s needs, and I’ll share a short update or video afterwards so you can see what we worked on and how to keep it going at home.

I'm based in Petts Wood, also covering Orpington, Bromley, Chislehurst, Beckenham and surrounding SE London / Kent areas. Contact me for more info.
